For our client in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Data Engineer.

Company description

Our client is specialized in creating software used at healthcare institutions. The software helps medical workers to calculate and decrease the risk of post-surgery infections. With the help of the platforms and the data gathered from patient history, they have a more accurate overview on which patients tend to get an infection after a surgery and prevent it in advance.

Role description

As a Data Engineer you will be maintaining and enhancing the internal data warehouse and creating data flows into it, thus, you assist the work of the data scientists. You will create and maintain ETL components, create tests to automate data integrity checks, resolve problems with data availability and integrity, and manage and monitor data gathering procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or similar)
• Proficiency with Python, SQL and preferably with Linux
• Excellent command in English, both written & oral
• Experience with Cloud platforms
• Git, Docker or similar is a plus
• Critical-thinker
• Proactive attitude
